Future Plan

Future plans of District Cooperative Office, Habiganj :

 

(1) Successful implementation of "Bangabandhu Model Village Project" and its expansion in phases

[Subject to approval from the Department of Cooperatives];

 

(Ii) Undertake Co-operative development activities for the backward sections of the society such as: Hijras, Vedas and ethnic groups and Co-operate in making the activities undertaken successful;

 

(3) Initiatives to increase the participation of women in cooperatives and increase their capacity;

 

(4) Implement developmental activities like fish farming, vegetable farming, cow rearing etc. in a modern way through Cooperative Societies to meet the nutritional needs of the country;

 

(5) Creation of sustainable, productive and profitable Cooperatives;

 

(6) Motivation for the best use of information technology (in cooperative societies);

 

(7) Increase the production of cooperative goods and Co-operate with those who are interested in marketing the products.
